In life you make good and bad decisions and you have to live with them. It's the same with business decisions. We had to decide whether we should go to the Invention Convention in Pasadena. I am pleased to say that we decided to attend and it turned out to be a huge success.
We knew we had a hot product with Springers, the shoe laces which don't need to be tied, but I have also seen a lot of good products end up on the back burner. I believe that the Invention Convention was the turning point on making Springers a success. It opened up avenues for us as we made many important contacts who enabled us to begin selling our product throughout the United States.
We spoke with so many influential people from the media to investors, distributors, wholesalers, store owners, rack-jobbers and reps. It changed our thinking from who do we talk to, to who do we want to talk to.
One of the highlights for me was to be with other people in the same situation as ourselves. That is people wanting to sell their product and to be involved in the Invention Convention. Working together made it more of a team effort.
The seminars during the Convention were invaluable and your help and advice during and after the Convention have been a great help. I would like to congratulate you and your team on a wonderful show.
I look forward to participating next year.Sincerely,
